So.. Me and a Ford master tech just did a whole bunch of upgrades on my car...

Upon reassembly, and first fire - we got a whooooole bunch of oil pouring out of each valve cover gasket - Both kind of blown away..

I purchased the Ford Racing oil pump service gasket kit.. Which includes these part numbers..

#BR3Z6584D,#BR3Z6584A

If you go look on MMR, LMR, AM - you will see this kit being sold as 11-17 5.0..

After digging deeper, and looking around Tasca.. We found the correct part numbers... ER3Z-6584-A, ER3Z-6584-B..

I've provided some pictures.. The ER gaskets look a little different near the front/exhaust side of the head.. And the bolts illistrated look correct vs the BR numbers...

This drawing is associated with #BR3Z6584D,#BR3Z6584A

So - Little bit of a PSA

And has anyone else ran into this ?? The ER coded gaskets show applicable to the GT350, and every F150.. But no mustang... The BR shows mustang...

However, My vin # yielded the result of ER coded gaskets being needed...

Sorry if this is confusing.. Just thought I'd share.

I'd like to share this... As you can see - Most re-sellers are advertising this kit as 11-17 and that is INCORRECT.
