You'll have to push hard for the price (may have to give up 500) but that's up to your negotiating prowess. I pitched them 38OTD (VA tax is 4.15%) and they didn't immediately reject it but I could tell you'll have a little bit of a fight on your hands. They seem rather eager to sell it though.

I tried to buy a car similar to this in March in CA. The lowest I could get them to go was $40.5k. If they would have gone this far down, I'd be driving it.

played mind games with the dealer in question. They actually got down to 36+freight+800fee + TTL which pencils out to 17% off MSRP+TTL, but they quoted a preposterous trade-in figure and queered the deal. So if anyone wants to strike for the opportunity, you might be able to get the above-detailed bottom dollar if you don't have a trade in. I think 17% off is their limit.
