How is the highest horsepower Coyote motor in production "not important". I was talking about the motor, not the Bullitt model. The motor found in the Bullitt (Gen 3 Coyote with the GT350 Intake Manifold, Throttle Body and Air Intake) would slot perfectly between a GT and GT350 as a Revised PP2, a PP3 or Boss 302.
He's right. All of the gains are from the air intake and different tune, and it's not really 20 crank HP (normal Gen 3 Coyote is slightly underrated). The GT350 hardware was added for marketing reasons. If they wanted to make more power with the GT350 manifold, they needed to change to higher rpm cams and extend the redline. That wasn't in the cards for cost.

Their benefit from the manifold was sustained power band. Regular 5.0 drops off power at 7k, Bullitt makes peak power all the way to 7500.

Dyno chart showing that? 18+ cars and even 15-17 cars with 18 manifolds carry power to 7500 nicely. Peak is 7100-7200, with a very shallow fall off.

I was about to say the same, but I looked it up... dyno charts do have the power starting to drop off right at 7k. It falls off pretty steep by 7200

Stock and tuned 2019 Bullitt by Steeda. Sure doesn't carry the power any more than a stock 18GT.

Yeah even with a good dyno tune a BULLITT will peak HP between 7k and 7250 and TQ about ~5k.

I'd like to see how both intake respond with more agressive cams. Maybe the GT500 cams will be swapable to the 5.0.

This video has a few dynos runs in it:

GT500 isn't going to be any higher revving than a 5.0L, so not advantage, and optimized for boost rather than NA.

Realistically anyone going through the expense and effort to do cams is better of with a Cobra Jet manifold, as it'll wax the 18 and GT350 manifolds above 8000 rpm.

I would not accept a dyno plot, unless it has the proper scaling & cross-over point.
I'll draw it for you shifted down.

Please be a Boss 302. I always wanted the 12-13 Boss 302's and if it made a comeback on this platform it would be superb.

Well I think we will be seeing a Boss 302 again soon. The Boss 302 logo was spotted on an internal Ford Dealer allocation document for 2020.

I really hope so, it'll be interesting to see how they approach the boss this time IF they confirm it. I didn't know about the logo being spotted and if there was a post about it I probably missed it, I haven't been that active lately cause of work.
