Irregardless or "All of the sudden".

Anyways, they drive me nuts when people say them.

And "I could care less" is probably the most common. It's simply a lazy way to say "I couldn't care less". IF you "could care less", then that means you care but yet people say it as if they don't care at all. Yep, annoying.

I'd suggest they both work, and the one you've identified is just a little more sarcastic, and possibly even more accurate ...

If you say, "I care about Mustangs", you've indicated, you have some amount of care.

If you said, "I could care less about Camaros", what you've really done is qualify your amount of care, i.e., "I care very little about Camaros", and in a sarcastic way, you've also said, "I care so little about Camaros, that I could, with effort care even less, but it's not worth my time". :D

Also, considering the accuracy vs. "I couldn't care less", sure you could, by taking the time to write that you had some care - for the person who writes, "I could care less", they have the option of not writing anything at all, which is clearly less that than the person who "Couldn't care less" :D

To the OP - you started a thread about this exact same topic last year, too. It's showing up in the "similar threads" list below. Bored much?

See that S is so grating. it is non standard not correct and informal plus a anyway is an advert and cant be plural.
... its about as bad as people who say irregardless, it wasnt even a word. But now so many people say it, like anyways, its been added to the dictionary?????
What about people who don't know how to properly use or spell contractions?

Going slightly off track.....

What word has 3 "U"s?

I don't know, but it must be unusual.
