UPR catch can

Well here is the can i have

Install is easy. The hoses and black can look great in the engine bay. I have had the can on for over 1000miles. I have abour 2700 miles on the car. I am in WA state north of seattle. I get a lot of condensation build up in my lines. Not much can be done with the temperature changes. The can is catching a lot of it but some does get by. It is also catching a lot of gunk but again some is getting by. Not sure if due to my climate but im leaning that way. I had a catch can in FL a different brand but it caught stuff and never saw any in the lines after the can. I know the UPR is a better design than that can too so thats why i believe the climate is the culprit. Hopefully when the weather gets warm and stays that way it will change. I am glad i have the can cause there is always stuff when i drain and that is once a week. So here are the pics of the inside of the can and the outlet to the intake.

My honest opinion is Personally I don't like the looks of what's in your catch can, I'm hoping for you it may Be the climate in the state of Washingtonl, that making your oil look this way, and again I'm not sure on kind of oil you are useing? :cheers: John

Full synthetic quaker state 5w20
. Im gonna do an oil analysis next change. But i have used this oil in my F150 5.0s with great results. I ran those things just as hard as my mustang. I let the car idle til rpms drop and dont drive hard until oil temp is in the green.

Just talking with Steve at UPR. Great support. Im really glad my can is catching this crap. It makes me happy its not getting in my engine. The very cold mornings and rain are not helping the condensation issues but neither was the short drives i did for the past few weeks. Back to my weekly commuting so hopefully it will cut down on some condensation but the can is catching that and oil crap. A great product by UPR.
