Upgrading to Climate Control

I've tried searching through Sync 3 posts as well as ForScan posts and can't find what I'm looking for.

I have regular Sync without climate control on the dash or in the seats.

If I wanted add climate control, would I just need to upgrade to Sync 3 with the proper bezel as well as get factory seats that came with the climate control option?

*I know this will probably cost more than it's worth but if I can find salvage/used seats, I planned on upgrading to Sync 3 anyways.

Is this even doable, and if so, is there anything else that would need to be incorporated?

There's a little bit more involved including temperature sensors in the cabin and probably BCM programming. I wouldn't say impossible, but it will be a challenge.

You'd also have to buy the flapper-doors and controllers that are in the ducting behind the dash.
