Upgrading the base 4" screen to double din or the 8" screen?

Anyone know of any kits that'll let me swap the small 4" radio screen to either the 8", or into a Pioneer, Kenwood, etc. double din radio? I haven't seen many and the ones I have seen you lose the HVAC controls to a screen as well, I'd prefer to keep them manual.

These threads give a lot of detail, but the rewiring is a little complicated, especially since the pictures are too small (on the first link at least). I'm in the process of swapping now and I got the 8" sync 3 screen and gt350 bezel on ebay. I also ordered a 4" to 8" screen wiring harness from ebay for ~$160. There are some guys on the forum here that sell the kit for ~$1200
