There is a new brochure posted in the Australia section for RHD. Their specs are a little different to the UK ones, but the photo's do seem to be "genuine" as opposed to photoshopped!

The spec shows the EB uses 91RON while the V8 is 98RON... the small print does say the EB performance figures are when using 95RON... and they have satnav as standard for example.

Have you linked to the correct one as that just looks like the one that came out earlier.

Same cars, same locations just photoshopped to RHD with big mirrors.

I just a bit peed off that the RHD cars are being built yet our dealers still don't know what we are getting and still no real pictures.

Nice to see that they haven't photoshopped the handbrake to the 'correct side' :D

This is a new Brochure that was loaded onto the Ford Australia Web Site on Monday 10th August 2015.
Several differences from the previous Brochure are,
The Power and Torque figures have been revised to 306 KW and 530 NM.
The previous Brochure had the figures as 303KW and 525 NM.
The Drivers and Passengers seat are now both listed as being Electric 6 Way Adjustable.
The previuos Brochure only had the Drivers Seat as 6 Way Electric Adjustable.
The photos are now of a RHD model.
The previous Brochure had a combination of LHD and RHD Models.
It also shows the Stripes as fading towards the rear of the car.

I think they got that backwards. The V8 can run on 91 RON (which is US 87 regular). Its the EB that needs 98 (US 93 premium) to run flat out.

In Australia, most performance V8's are tuned for max Power on 98 Octane.
In Australia, 98 Octane is very common at all Garages.

So do we not need to use Super Unleaded for the V8, will regular unleaded be good enough?

Are we likely to get the same then (sat nav as std etc.)?

We can use regular. There would be a slight reduction in power but nowhere near as much as the EB loses by not using super.

SatNav not standard in the UK.

Re the fuel: The UK handbook simply says on page 104:

Use minimum 95 octane unleaded gasoline that meets the specification defined by EN 228 or the equivalent national specification.
Your vehicle is suitable for use with ethanol lends up to 10% (E5 and E10).

There is no "official" statement anywhere in the UK price list about the fuel spec that I can recall... Do we even get ethanol blends in the UK/Europe?

Interesting that the AUS docs say something a little different, but maybe they do get a slightly different tune in different markets.

re the specs - the AUS models don't have the same options, so no custom pack for example, and the nickel wheels are only an option on the V8, so yes, there are differences. They also have an "accessories" section in their brochure; the UK has nothing similar - yet.

I recall my '99 Camaro Z28 had an oil change interval of 12K miles in the UK, and 3K in the US; same engine, same oil... so I wonder how much of this is driven by "marketing" and "market expectations".

95 US AKI (Anti-Knock Index) or 95 UK RON?
