I noticed a wiring loom going beneath the under bonnet insulaton. Couldn't and didn't want to remove the insulation to see where it goes.
Does anyone know what this is for?

Wiring loom?? Are you sure it's not the washer fluid pipes?

Possibly for the exploding bonnet, for pedestrian safety! But id assume that only runs up the hinges and not far under the insulation, if at all.

it is the washer fluid pipes.. I am sitting here looking at it now.

Thanks Melbnut. If I didn't get a response I would have started taking it apart to find out. I thought it may have been part of the wiring loom for the bonnet vent indicator lights as per the US cars but then why put the loom in if the vents and indicators aren't there (although it would not suprise me if they did just that!).
