LMFAO... a Saleen that exceeds the value of a 1993 Cobra R... WTF is going on with these people who are bidding up a S/C Fox Saleen to over $200k... They must all be on the same funny juice...

I stopped buying Fox Mustangs when I heard about the Coyote. Ford finally put a better engine in the Mustang than a pushrod 302. I think the last few Foxes I bought for $400, $750 and $2,000. They were fun for that kind of money.

Edit: I do really miss the sound of lots of valve overlap. The last engine I built had a nasty idle.

Wow that is one fugly vehicle. Back in the day I worked for Pioneer USA and they bought I believe 5 of them (not convertibles, they were white with Saleen graphics), one for each US region. They were fun to drive, I think they had magnesium wheels and incredibly sticky tires. But they had only suspension mods, as they didn’t want all us 20 something’s killing ourselves with supercharged V8’s.

At some point they sold them to employees. Wonder if anyone kept them, and what they’re worth now.

Meh, it doesn't surprise me anymore. Rich people are always trying to re-live their youth, and they don't care what it costs.

I'd rather be able to relive my youth with a hooker than a car! But, at least I can still drive a car.
