Two GT500”s in Shelby of America Workshop

In Vegas, went to the Shelby of America shop. Very nice. While there looking at the history, what do my little eye spy ????? Not one but TWO production, off the line delivered Base GT500”s. Now I could be wrong about production, because I was not allowed in the back because I missed the tour, and the people who controlled that area had left. But I did get a chance to see the cars...and they did not look like test cars to me.

Also one of the ladies who worked there did hey were DELIVERED...recently. Hmmmm Anyway it would not surprise me they would get theirs earlier than others, the colors were Ruby Red. And Silver.

So in looking carefully at your photos is the battery still to the far right and closest to the interior of the car???? I know thats where I was told a few months ago but just wanted an opinion if thats where its still located. I live in the midwest where we have to battery tender plus our cars in the winter. Oooops I meant to the far left if you are standing outside the car and looking at the engine compartment from the front of the car. Far left at the top??? Also I take it that the red one is the "Rapid Red" color???

It is in the same location as all the other S550s, passenger side at the rear of the engine bay.

I love my new Hellcat but I am certain in 2021-2022 it will be traded in on a GT500. I love Mustangs.

My GT500 is has a delivery date estimated to be November 7. Unfortunately during SEMA week.
