Is the black bit across the nose for protection in transit? I kind of like the effect; it makes the front end look even meaner.

I am trying to purchase a set of wheels and tires and I keep hearing that bigger tires up front will mean that it will be not a decent ride since these wheels will be turning the vehicle. Have you experienced anything like this with your set up?? Thanks

My car drives amazing with the 305/30/19 upfront. No issues these tires. Hope this helps you.
