I keep reading this thread over and over, waiting on some more info. I am very budget friendly guy unfortunately no welding skills at all, but I feel like if someone made t4 flange to 2 bolt flange like make cat delete with 38mm-44mm wastegate flange you could put a good kit together under 4-5k... cx racing makes kits for alot of cars they actually work but have 10r80 those vband flanges will have clearance issue, rather work with stock manifolds.

well guys I started collecting some parts for my custom turbo kit, I will not be using any cx racing parts but would like to contribute to the thread. Plans are for low mount kit..here is where I am at so far.
2x borgwarner 257sxe 7670s - 509 each shipped
2x turbosmart bov $ 140 each shipped
2x turbosmart 40mm comp gates $242 each shipped

I do need to buy hot sides for turbos which will cost another $500 max.

I hope we can all help each other... I'm looking for some ideas for oil line setup.
i figured turbowerx scvanger pump. custom sump, feed back to oil fill cap using that upr quick billet disconnect cap.

What are the specs and RWHP potential of those turbos? I am very interested to see how this turns out. What intercooler setup are you going for?

Borg Warner says they support 700-1100hp in twin configuration

rated for 300-650hp depending on boost.hellion also offers these turbos as an upgrade in the sleeper kit. I am looking for about 800-850hp might get in to alittle grudge racing and these turbos will spool super fast for 1/8 mile racing.

I have to figure out intercooler setup, I do have vortech on my car can always buy a core and have it duplicated. I seen the AU company plazmaman sells a intercooler for 1200ish. The intercooler is the least of my worries I want to get the oiling system squared away.

Spending 1000+ on an IC would be madness in my opinion,. Keep the Vortech unit or use a treadstone or CX racing core for cheap.

The CX core that came in my kit is 4" thick and should flow MORE than enough for 1000 whp.

Those 57's are going to spool immediately and hit HARD. Kicking myself because I should have just went that route on the turbos instead of the 67s I bought. Mine will be too laggy.

I'm sure you'll be doing a lot of research before buying, but be careful with the less expensive intercoolers.

Good video but lots of missing info.

There is more to a great IC than pressure drop. Typically IC's with less pressure drop don't cool the charge as well. So there is a trade off to an extent.

Also, we don't know whether or not this guy had boost leaks elsewhere.
