3" is recommended. The turbos are the biggest restriction in a forced induction setup, so generally the larger tubing dia you can use the better, but you will need to consider price, underbody clearance, etc when choosing a size. This is NOT the case for naturally aspirated vehicles.

I am building my project right now and I went with the HELLION top mount with 3” to a new 3” XForce Varex. I’m hoping to fire up this weekend and see what it sounds like with the turbos. The fit and quality is excellent

I am building my project right now and I went with the HELLION top mount with 3” to a new 3” XForce Varex. I’m hoping to fire up this weekend and see what it sounds like with the turbos. The fit and quality is excellent
Would you mind taking a photo of how the turbo pipes connect to the new exhaust?

Ruby red 2019 GT Premium.
This seams like a no brained to me. 3 inch. There is no additional cost. And you don’t have to worry about it being an issue vs the 2.5.

I asked for the 3” connections from Hellion and then had a local shop weld on the supplied v band ends and used the XForce 2 1/2x3 reducer. The shop cut off the reducer part and then welded it up. Turned out perfect!

Yeah that was my biggest question was if I would have to cut the reducers off my mbrp system and weld a vband onto it. Looks like I will
