The maf was out in correctly. The post was simply to get information on if anyone ever used liveries for a tune and if so how did it work secondly the question on the cold air intake was that why would installing a cai putting the car in limp mode. I’ve installed several cai even had one on my last mustang. Never had a problem. An airleak would make sense the rubber sealing strip doesn’t conform to the intake box very well. Just was confused as to why my car would be going into limp mode. Not trying to be a smartass but just confused as to why this would be happening and if I made a good choice of a tune from livernois.

Ypu should be able to datalog now, yes? Do your full throttle runs as stock throw a wrench currently? Guessing not. But for giggles log the car and see if anything interesting shows up.

So are you saying you have the tune installed and it still goes into limp mode? Post a link to the exact intake you have installed.

No that’s just with the cai. I haven’t installed the tune. My feeling there’s an air leak somewhere either the rubber seal to the hood isn’t sealing or something else isn’t sealed correct. Checking that out today. Haven’t installed the tune yet.

Livernois is one of the few tune shops that have CARB certified tunes. They are safe.

The rubber seal against the hood won't matter with the issue you're tracking down.

So then where would the problem be?
Is maf sensor put in the correct way? Which intake did you install. You sure it's one that doesn't require a tune? Why don't you just flash the tune you bought and call it a day?

Is your K&N filter one that needs to be oiled? If so, maybe you over oiled it? I've heard of people getting CELs from it.
