Sorry guys , your argument is way off base . When it comes down to what is causing more exhaust emissions, every one looks at the end result . In fact most emissions are created by the manufacturer to produce the end product. I have tuned car , can be fat pig , depending on how I drive it . But the fact is for that car to be built , ice versus an ev bev or such , is a smaller carbon foot print . Look at what the recycling of an ice versus an ev . Where in the hell are you going to process all those used battery ?

By your own argument if they wanted to make the biggest reduction in CO2 they would ban road travel as it has the second largest contribution to global CO2 after heating.

The only thing I'm comparing is the amount of C02 each pumps into the air each hour of operation. People have to get to work, people don't have to go on vacation. The quickest way to reduce output of Co2 is stopping aviation.

People will have to quit traveling. I suppose we will have to go back to horse and buggy, BUT horses emit methane along with Co2.

The quickest way to reduce CO2 is to ban heating and all transportation - see if that gets you elected!

We find alternatives to fossil fuels to allow us to carry on, which is what is happening. That way the world continues to prosper and survive.
