I had to laugh out loud at the pic of tape.
come on man, you know that isn't air tight. maybe use something like silicone for temporary fix.

Lmao I used a lot of tape, really thought it would be decent lmao. I put some rtv around it so hopefully it will seal. Just afraid the rtv will rip when pressure is applied.

my motto is try to eliminate as many variables as I can, even if it still fails to hold a steady maf pressure or whatever at least you know it isn't that port.

Ya, hopefully the rtv dries nice and I can make sure it’s actually seals

Good to know. I’ll check it’s progress in a few hours. Might need to add more. Worried about it ripping/coming apart when the pcv tune moves.

It’s not a strong pressure rhere
Itl go through filter.
You’ll be fine once properly cured
Rtv is pretty strong crap

Atleast the rtv right stuff I use

you want it to dry before adding more so the inside isn’t too thick and doesn’t have long enough to cure.
Let base cure then put another layer is my opinion

Have you checked all of the ports on the intake to confirm you have solid seals? Especially on the canister purge valve since it's such a wonky connection with the 18+ mani swap to begin with.

Here is my makeshift pressure tester. I move the valves like they get moved in the engine and it doesn’t leak anymore. Before it would leak if the pcv valve was pushed to the side a bit, which happens in the engine.

They should all be good but ill look that over. The only thing I am changing is the cai. The stock intake doesn't have any issues. So I would think the only issue could be somewhere along the cai

are MAF sensor readings even valid when measured at 120mm but the TB is breathing thru 80mm?

Your cute pressure test doesn't address the integrity of the CAI-TB joints nor any leaks into the TB itself from it's other attachments/orifices.

What are you talking about?

Edit: There is no other attachments/orfices. Yes the maf reading is valid…
