Went to byron yesterday. Ran my E85 tuned 18 GT A10 (About 460 whp) against a Roush charged 2016 6 speed GT (740 RWHP on 93) and a 2018 SS 1LE FBO, with E85, cams, ported and polished heads, etc. (550 RWHP on E85) Beat the SC'd Mustang every time to the 1/8, and beat the Camaro in the 1/4 on the first run. He misses second gear on the second run, but I was gone already anyway. He sent me the video of the second run. Both cool guys. We had fun considering the track opened 5 hours late due to weather, and DA was right at 2100 for all runs. My car ran very consistent. ON EDIT: Couldn't attach the video, as .MOV files are not supported here.

I have to say, the Steeda STH starter kit & NT555RII's really made my car hook. Shifts in drag mode felt violent due the lack of tire spin. Glad I added the GT350 axles!

I was looking at the Nitto's for my next set of tires and the enthusiast kit. Good review.

He only caught me in the last 100 feet. He was having trouble launching it. I am also 330#, so I'd probably stayed ahead of him if I was his weight.

What tire pressures are you running? I have the NT555Rii as well. I've run them 4 times so far, with one decent run with a 1.79 60. I was running them at 25psi hot with a 5 second burn out to heat them up.

My best 60' was the first run @25psi. The other runs I went to 22psi, and it didn't help, actually went up by .01-.03 after lowering. I just Brake torqued until it spun, then let it rip to the beams.

LS as I remember your a heavy Dude. Next time toss your back seat and passenger seat. Nice consistent runs! E85 n/a hard to beat for the $$ spent.

Yes, I lost a few pounds, but still 330#. It was very consistent! Even my reaction times, minus when the other guy red lighted. I was distracted, but that didn't really matter.

Well the Roush guy definitely was not running a “warranty tune” based off the trap speed, but 2 tenths difference is not worth 8-10k imo. Especially when E85 full bolt on guy’s with weight reduction are running high 10’s low 11’s. Stangmode whipped a lot of ass n/a.

Corrected this would be 11.45/123 with just a tune basically. I don't want to do weight reduction, except on myself. LOL. I was going to do converter and headers next, but I think I will go Procharger Stage 2 P1X, with E85. That should keep the street manners, and a nice second gear up boost.

How does a 16 GT with roush SC have 740rwhp on 93? That doesn't sound even remotely close to correct. My 16 with roush phase 2 SC just dynod nearly 150rwhp less than that. Are you sure he didn't have the phase 2 sc thats rated for 740 at the crank?

My 17 Phase 2 put down 679 on the dyno on 93 but I had some upgrades and custom tune. On 100 octane it put down 722 so I agree I can’t see that car putting down 740 on 93 unless the tune is throwing in crazy timing and he doesn’t care if he grenades his motor.
