I installed Adams acuator yesterday. Install is very straight forward and fairly easy. Now I'm in the process of getting the tune dialed in. On my first drive today I noticed that I have new sounds! It's kind of a whistle at higher rpm's(5000+). Is that normal?

I'm still working through getting the tune tweaked but the whistle has gone away.

So how badly did you have to mangle the heat shield to get it out?

lol, bad enough that I didn't bother putting the torx bolt back in. Seriously though it's not that bad. I gave up trying to rebend the bottom when I put it back in...and it's not rattling for now. Eventually I'll get that bolt back in there. As for performance, I'm still getting the tune adjusted and any gains will be based solely on my subjective "feelings". So you gotta take that with a grain of salt.

The wastegate isn't really audible. Def. should not be making any whistling noises. lol Stock bypass valve maybe

If you are getting "squeaking" it just needs some more fine adjustments on my end. If it is louder then you might have a leak somewhere.
