none of those mods are helped with a tune. So doubtful. Have a friendly mech look at the ECU flash count number. If you're not going to run E85 or 93 constantly then just put 91 in the tank and be happy. Otherwise buy the Ford Performance tune package if you care about factory warranty, otherwise get a 'used' tune device and give Unleashed Tuning a call.

Without a tune I'd be surprised if it ran at all.

You should have gotten the tuning device when you bought the car.

I'm not bashing Lund, but if it is a Lund tune good luck.

He scrambles the ECU

You most likely have a tune on the car with the JLT. Those intakes are a rather drastic change from the stock one and your MAF is calibrated to for a specific size intake. A dealership will be able to tell you specifically but assume that you do.

If you're interested in doing more mods to it in the future, you will need to get a tuning device, remove the current tune and upload another from your choice of aftermarket tuning like Lund or Palm Beach Dyno.

We offer a handful:
custom-tunes-1

Just stating facts.

Unless he has changed his locking system, not even Ford can overwrite it.

He changes the addresses so if you plugin you can't access the PCM.

Again unless he has changed his system.

thanks for all replays

I don't have check engine lite and car pulling good so probably i ill not mess with any tune (probably some tune is already there)
But i should probably invest in some shifter update ( this shifter is kind of flimsy )

-Huh? I access the PCM no problem on my buddies LUND tune car. The software uses JAVA to encode it. They leave telltales if the tune 'magically' shows up somewhere.

You mean you can't plug your obd2 tester in there and pull codes or you can't say stick your HPTuner's MVPI2 in there and read/modify the tune (aka locked tune)?
