Tubes in your slicks

Is anyone running tubes in their 28x10x17 Hoosiers? All of the race cars I've owned( and currently own) I run tubes. I mounted a pair on a set of race stars and tried them out yesterday at the strip. They do sway a bit more than I would expect for having such a short sidewall (in comparison to my other cars mounted on 15s). It really doesn't bother me because I'm very used to slick sway( I have logged passes in the thousands) but this is a car I intend to let my wife and nephew practice in and I would like it to be a little more comfortable to drive.
I'm thinking the IRS has a bit to do with it also.
And before anyone suggests it NO, I will not go to radials, I have my reasons.
Before I grab a set of tubes and try cramming them in there, I'd like some feedback from someone who has done it with these wheels and tires. Thanks

Put skinny on. No one is running tubes on the hoosier and from what I've seen they don't recommend it.

Was everything previous a solid rear axle?
The dynamic toe change under accel as each rear corner goes in and out of hooking up would likely be wwwaayyy different on this new IRS vs solid axle.

I wish I had an alignment rack: wanna grab each rear wheel tire assembly with straps and ratchet them forward with spring guages both side. Then I could write up a toe vs accel G(long load) table for stock n various suspension mods and title the thread "taming the noodle".

I haven't put it up on the alignment rack yet though it is something I want to look in to.
I can visually see it has considerable negative camber. I'd would also like to look into the alignment affects on handling.

Exactly who is "they"? i mounted these tubeless because of the regard from members here but as a "drag racer", this is not normal.

I have run the 17 hoosier slick with good luck to 145. No tubes and I keep the air at 15-16. If I go lower is gets the wobble.

Any more than 13lbs and my 60' goes away. I 60' 1.49 @11-12lbs. 14-15lbs yields 1.55-1.60 from spinning. It runs the same et because with more air I pick up another 2mph but it's less consistent which isn't good for a bracket car. I can deal with the wobble, it doesn't bother me. I may have to toss drag radials on it while the wife and nephew learn. Or, we have an 1/8 mile track local they can practice at until they gain confidence. It's a perfect drive-to-track and run kind of car. Takes 10 minutes to swap tires when we get there. Runs consistent 6.60s@104.
