For those interested you can buy an endoscope camera for your smart phone. 20 bucks and up. I got one a few years ago and it's decent for this type of stuff. Here's a shot of mine.

Yeah I am pretty sure nearly all of the 2020s will be affected. I have 4,000 miles on mine and have been really aggressive on it lol.

I have done at least 20 full 30 minute track sessions on my 2020 and have 4k miles. no issues whatsoever. I am going to go do the self-check through my oil cap. Also, no TSB via link or in ford pass so they must not be all. Pretty sure I would of caused a failure by now. I will report back

Anyone that had a "safe" pic, and then start it and see if the position changes (more groove less groove)?
Thanks
I don't know if I am helping any, but you asked for someone that had a "safe" pic to post a follow-up picture after having run the engine. I drove mine to/from work today. Here is what mine looked liked 40-miles later with about six shut-down/restarts. I tried comparing it to the picture I posted yesterday...about the same I guess, but I am 99.99% sure my passenger side tensioner has been activated. Whew!!! I know that isn't very scientific...some 40-miles later with a bunch of restarts, but that is the best I can do today. If I had the time, I suppose someone could remove their coolant degas bottle and rotate the motor by hand from 12 o'clock to 8:30 o'clock and take some back-to-back pictures. Long story, but not something I can do anytime soon. Hope this helps.

Thanks.....didn't know if folks that could barely see the "groove" had any different look after a start and run......if more of that "lifter looking" thing was more or less exposed.
Again thanks for the followup and pics.......I can't imaging Ford doing House Calls on this.....sounds like a real cluster for them......

Checked mine. All is good. I suspect this is what happened to my bosses gt500 to throw the chain at only 549 miles and basically grenade the motor. Luckily he got Ford to buy the vehicle back

I purchased a 2020 HEP GT350 in early March and have been waiting patiently for it to be picked up and shipped over to me... It was sitting in a dealer show room until the 26th when it was picked up, which just so happens to be the day that the FSA was released as we know. The vehicle was delivered to me today (woohoo) and it goes back to a local dealer tomorrow for this :(. Fingers crossed it is fine and no further action is needed. There are only 9 miles on the odometer.

Gen 2 Voodoo's face-first in the dirt. Who'd have imagined that...

Who? Same people dumb enough to suggest that human error only happens on a gen2?..or that only gen2s have secondary tensioners? Take your pick!

Nothing on FordPass for me or the recall site. Will check with a mirror this weekend regardless.

June 2020 build, 3900 miles, motor built by Adam Stier.

Sounds like an assembly issue to me, not a design flaw.

Yup. Just like all the other Voodoo failures since 2015. Welcome to the club.
I see. You’re one of those guys who relishes the idea that other people might have the same misfortune as you...enough to completely make things up.
