I attached pics of where I got power from the PSCM under the hood and where I got it for the HUD via the in car temp sensor ZaoduSbPR8qjKafECeFK+w.jpg n5UNi1B8RW+5fGn95O%j1A.jpg fullsizeoutput_86c.jpeg

Oh you all bought new parts. I just want used parts which are harder to find since not many mustangs were equipped with them and then half of them have front end damage anyways.

I couldn't find a used one for over 2 month, so I decided to get a new one. The price is a bit ridiculous.

My mustang is mostly a track car with some weekend driving so the price of the new parts isn't worth it to me. I'll just wait until a used one pops up. I have a guy keeping the lookout for one.

If you're asking why I want adaptive cruise on mostly a track car its really because I love it on my fusion and it would be nice the few times I drive it. I'm just a geek like that.

How did you get the defroster grille up and out?
I can't get my big hands in at the right angle to pull it out!

You have to remove the side panels on the a-pillar and then pull up. I used the regular door panel removal tools. Hope this helps a bit.

I think that I will just wire mine to the factory turnsignal lights.

Anybody know if it's possible to test HUD out of car. Mine was second hand and is definitely getting power but CCM is not seeing it.

Could you give more info on the auto wipers? I have a cracked windshield I need to replace anyway and thought it would be a good time to try the retrofit.

I posted a write-up called "Adding OEM Rain Sensing Wipers" in the infotainment and electronics section (https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/adding-oem-rain-sensing-wipers.86047/). The programming is for a 2015-2017 mustang, but I'm sure the 18+ is the similar. I can help with programming if you need.

    Hey Ray
So far the HUD is not working for me :-( I am almost sure my wiring is correct and the diagnostics is saying as well that everything is fine. So I guess there is something wrong with my HUD.

I checked the wiring from my HUD connector and found that the signal wires and ground have been fine, but power was missing. And I found out that the power wire was ending in C212 (large connector on the right well above the BCM) and it was not connected to any power source. So I added the missing wire to provide power to the HUD.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers
    Falk
