That is the Bronco "Sport". You can easily purchase them today. Go to another dealer since it seems that the dealer you are working with has no idea what he is doing. Dealers are selling these since Jan.

Tried to buy a bronco sport badlands! Dealer said Ford won’t let him sell them for another couple month! WTF! He said Ford gave them the Broncos to get people on the lots!
Funny, my local dealer has received four Bronco sports and has sold them all. Your dealer is full of crap. If your dealer has one, Ford has already sold it to them and they can do whatever they want with it. Ford does not control dealer sales.

Do some of you not read? Do y’all just read the title and post. It’s not just one dealer I tried. I’ve tried multiple and different states. From the article if it’s been on their lot 4 months they can sell. I’m assuming that’s what’s happened or they are the lower trim models.

I like those wheels they look steal wheels but are aluminum. Wanna do a lift with bigger tires like this one.

Sounds like a marketing plan to keep the highest priced model on the lot (other than the "First Edition which was presold) to get people out to look and have the opportunity to compare it to the 1.5's. Some will decide that they want the Badlands and wait and probably get on some type of waiting list which will essentially pre-sell them, and some will take what is on the lot. So it is a win/win for the dealer. Except they aren't saying that is what they are doing prior to anyone showing up at the lot.

I would have done the same thing and would be equally pissed off. Would've never thought a car on a dealers lot wouldn't be for sale unless someone else had literally just bought it.

The wheels look like the return of the famed 86-93 Fox Mustang “phone dials” or “10-holes”:
