I have a 2015 Mustang GT PP with 50k miles. After a weekend of spirited street driving I noticed a deep ticking/buzzing/or whirring noise coming from what I assumed was my newly installed Steeda Tri Ax short throw shifter (the one with just the handle only, around ~1k miles ago replaced with no issues till now). At first I thought it was the shifter itself but removed all components and now have double checked the torque specs of the shifter but I am still having this very noticeable noise while driving. The noise in the most prominent in 1st 2nd 3rd and gets much quieter above that. Also when the clutch pedal is pressed the noise goes away for the most part.
Any suggestions on what this could be? Throwout bearing? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
