Does anyone know if this can be bought separately? The research I found shows the bracket can't be bought separately. Basically a whole new cooler would need to be bought. I'm hoping that I'm wrong tho....

The brackets do not come off the cooker. I bought one for my 2016 base Shelby that did not have a transmission cooler. I took it off before I sold the car and I still have everything and would probably sell it if interested. I have the the lines, pump, cooler, switch, and fuse which is The whole setup needed to add the transmission cooler to a 2016 base or tech package Shelby GT350.

Curious as to why you would remove it. Did the buyer understand the ramifications?

Comes with those brackets attached. A third has to be bought separately: FR3Z-7D388-A https://parts.autonationfordwhitebe...ic-transmission-oil-cooler-bracket-fr3z7d388a

If you do not buy the "kit" with lines, etc, and you use your own lines, your parts list should look something like what is pasted below. I would check with Whitebear Lake (link above) to confirm.

- S550FR3Z-7A095-C GT350 TRANSMISSION COOLER
- FR3Z-7D388-A BRACKET, COOLER
- TA-25B THREADLOCK & SEALER (LOCTITE BLUE)
- W503293-S439 BOLT, COOLER TO FENDER
- W505424-S442 BOLT, BRACKET TO CORE
- W709390-S439 BOLT, BRACKET TO BODY
- W711390-S450B BOLT, BRACKET TO COOLER
- W714182-S442 BOLT, COOLER TO BODY
- FR3Z 8310F Brake vent

Pump, fittings, electrical wiring, and fluid lines would be separate. If you order OEM lines, you will have to fabricate fittings. Mounting the cooler is easy since it's all OEM. The work comes in the plumbing and wiring--not super hard; but not totally intuitive either.

Below is from White Bear Lake several years ago. They probably sold more of the parts and "kits" than anyone. For what it's worth, the "kit" is not a kit in my mind, because it does not have all the components you need and has components that you don't need:
---------------
"Contains OEM components found on GT350 Track Pack

Does not include pump or transmission with integral pump

Kit Includes: 8C3Z-7Z465-A RETAINING CLIPS
FR3Z-4B496-B BOLT, DRIVESHAFT @ DIFF
S550FR3Z-7A095-C GT350 TRANSMISSION COOLER
FR3Z-7B147-A CORE BRACKET
FR3Z-7D388-A BRACKET, COOLER
FR3Z-7R081-E COOLER LINES, FROM TRANSMISSION
FR3Z-7R081-F COOLER LINES, FROM COOLER
N800594-S101 DRIVESHAFT U JOINT FLANGE BOLTS
TA-25BTHREADLOCK & SEALER (LOCTITE BLUE)
W503293-S439 BOLT, COOLER TO FENDER
W505424-S442BOLT, BRACKET TO CORE
W520103-S437 NUT ALTERNATOR
W520412-S441NUT
W520803-S439 NUT-HEX
W701014-S441 NUT, TRANSMISSION LINE TO BELL HOUSING
W705443-S900 NUT, MOUNT TO CROSS MEMBER
W709390-S439 BOLT, BRACKET TO BODY
W711390-S450B BOLT, BRACKET TO COOLER
W714182-S442 BOLT, COOLER TO BODY
W716188-S437 BOLT, LINE TO TRANSMISSION
W717822-S439 BOLT, DRIVESHAFT @ BEARING S550"

I traded my car in at a dealer for my current 350R and wanted to return my car back to stock.

Thanks for the info guys, I actually got a lot of info already but I am going with another path atm. (subject to change) if the seller decides to keep it. however, i can pick up a track transmission and it includes the oil cooler but it's missing the bracket. i was hoping just to obtain the bracket since it's missing that.

Sounds like a good plan. This is the only bracket that can be bought separately; so it's most likely the one that is missing: FR3Z-7D388-A BRACKET, COOLER.

Good luck.
