So I’ve set my mind to run the 6.50 heads up class.
The class leaves on a pro tree
To be competitive it’s always advised to use a transbrake
However, I am hearing that running a transbrake on high horsepower can break the crankshaft?
I’ve just never heard this and wanted to get all input on this subject.
My setup
20% OD on the crank pulley
OPG’s
10 Rib kit Gen 5 whip
3.875 pulley
E85 tune
Roughly 900ish wheel HP
Steeda Stop the Hop
Progressives
Lowered
Drag radials
I am running stock converter with McLeod built tranny
What are my risks of breaking the crank on a stock block
