Trans fluid what r you using for trans fluid?

What do you recommend for replacing your ford Motorcraft trans fluid?
IT seems like some of the higher end synthetics like royal purple were not compatible with the Mercon LV that's recommended for our Shelby's

Well, not much stuff that meets Ford specs out there. BG synchoshift II is one of them and Motorcraft OE fluid with friction modifier is what's going in my HOT tranny sometimes next week.

I threw Redline MTL in. I know it's not the same spec as the automatic Mercon LV but it seems like if it runs in an MT-82 at 8k RPM without issues, I should probably be okay. Anecdotally, synchros appear to be engaging a little smoother and am getting better engagement when warm.
