Thank you so much!
#1. Keep your foot on the clutch at all times...yikes ! how to ruin a perfectly good clutch .. worst advice I have ever heard and every competent instructor would tell you don't do that as even slight pressure will cause premature wear.

Been driving manuals all my life and the only time you need your foot on the clutch is when your about to change gear, are you telling me you sit with it on the pedal ALL the time?

I've been driving my 15' MT82 for 5 years now. All you guys that blast the shit out of it don't make any sense to me at all. I haven't had any problems with it. Sure, it can be a little notchy at times, but other than that its been fine and I drive the living shit out of my car. Now the stock clutch, shifter and stupid plastic clutch lines, that's another story and I've replaced all of that awhile ago. The MT82 has handled all of my hard driving without breaking so far and I don't see that it will. Now...I'm going FI in a few months so I may find myself in a different situation on whether the MT82 will handle 700rwhp and the RST clutch. To be honest, if it breaks than fuck it....I'll go buy the Ben Callimer Stage 3 MT82 and call it a day. If you ask me if I'll drag race the car at the track, the answer is no. I drive my car on the street and that's where it'll live and eat. To the OP...do what you want. It's your life and money and life's to short to worry about stupid shit.

Agreed...I had an auto 6spd fine no problens. But now a '15 coupe gt with manual 6spd and it is fantastic! I've had Porsche turbos, Supra twin turbos and the transmission is just better. Is it better than the A10? Don't know probably more of a driver's preference.

We're in the midst of a recession. Do not trade in a car you are making payments on for a new one. JFC people.
JFC?
Labradog will guarantee you a better residual ....by waiting.

DONT DO IT !!! I Have an 18 A10 PP royal crimson and i had for 7 months a 19 Bullitt 6 spd at the same time ...I just got rid of the Bullitt not that the car wasnt beautiful or cool or great in many ways but IT was a PIG compared to the 10 SPEED and in my opinion the MT82 is much better prior to 18 as far as gear ratios are concerned but the new MT82-D4 is a real Deal killer .you would need a 4.09 gear in the car to atleast make it livable ..I absolutly hated the 6 speed it was lazy soft and just pure Rubbish below 5k rpm feels like the car has 100hp less than an auto 6tenths and 5 mph in the 1/4 on avg and thats if your a great 6 speed driver and you really need to kick the shit out of the car to get it all ....Thankful i have an A10 its better in every way ...and i traded the Bullitt for another hellcat this time a 19 Charger thats a real missle..

lets just say flex tune and 4.09s is still not as much fun as my A10 11.91 119.2 mph stock ..or i would have kept it ...ford should have left the ratios as they were and stuck 4.09s in it that car would have been better off .. the proper rear to make it similar to a 10 speed would be 4.30s but they dont make them for this super 8.8 ....

To each their own. Rowing the gears is more fun than a couple tenths in the 1/4 mi, but then again I don't drag race.
