If the vent is going to be powder coated, it may be a good idea to powder coat the hardware also. My previous experience with a TrackSpec hood vent is the screws, nuts, washers will get surface rust on them. This makes for an unsightly look. Look forward to seeing the end result for this vent. Just wanted to let everyone know Trackspec is starting to develop hood vents for the GT350.
John picked up my stock hood the other day to scan and we took some measurements off my car
and talked about some options, one of them being side vents but one of the problems
is our airbox is in the way?
He said the center vent will be similar to the GT4 vent he makes

It is unnerving.....You think this will help with hood stability at high speeds too? The flutter and how the edges of the hood start to budge out bugs the snot out of me.
