Well it just showed up as shipped on the pizza tracker. I plan to drive it about 1800 miles home over the rockies out here to CA. I am typically not to worried about PPF in general on most cars, but I did see a gt350 that the lower painted parts were totally hammered. should I throw on some track wrap or the paint on stuff to get me home or just not worry about it? We drove our c8 2500 miles home and it was fine but we did the south route no weather. where we may be hitting weather on this trip as I want to go on i70 through all the ski resorts out of denver. hopefully the weather holds. estimated deilviery is oct 24-30

I wouldn't leave it on a car for more than 1-2 days. It also looks pretty ugly. GT350 probably hammered it's parts during extended track driving

If you donā€˜t want to buy the track wrap get some 3m automotive tape. Itā€™ll come off clean and will stay where you put it even at highway speeds. I used it on my 350 bringing it back from Iowa in a blizzard behind a lifted 250. Car was good. You can get it at your local auto paint supply as well.

It will be hit or miss. I would watch the weather closely. And I would probably mask the front although It will probably chip somewhere else.

If it does snow in the mountains before you leave forget it. The road will have lots of that special paint chipping granite CDOT likes to use.

Yup I am worried mostly about the snow and small gravel they put down. Early Oct would of been nice. Some fall colors. Early Nov might be a mess. How is the 80 itā€™s much more boring if I remember? I want to go through slc.
