Hey Gang,
I've recently purchased 65 Fastback GT350 tribute in Australia. I'm trying my darndest to track down who did the restoration or (here's hoping) someone knows the owner. I want to capture as much history about the car for my collection. It definitely isn't stock and only a tribute to a GT350, but a little history and understanding will go a long way.
So some details.
It was a Pacific Northwest car based in Oregon
Restored to a Gt350 tribute around 2004-2005 around the Eugene area at the time.
A Mr. Carrell apparently owned it around that time
Sold to Speed Sport Inc. in 2014-2015 to then be sold and shipped to Australia.
It is such a nice looking car and I'm sure over the years, club meets or similar someone would have noticed or networked with the owner or even the resto body shop maybe?
It's a long shot and over 15 years ago however it doesn't hurt to put the feelers out there.
