Appreciate the feedback as only so much can be determined during a short conversation.

With that being said I am wondering why all of the Pre-Production (PP & MP) cars would be crushed as that would be a great deal of money just thown away for no reason?
Early production vehicles can't be legally sold. Now that I think of it though PP = pilot production and those should be saleable (it's just a test run of production intent vehicles before mass production). For sure all MP (mass production) vehicles would be saleable. My car had a "G" starting code and I can't remember what that stands for. I don't believe it is saleable... if the wrecked car was even salvageable.

Maybe they still aren't allowed to sell PP vehicles for some reason, or the instructor got it mixed up.

Not sure what your sources are but all 3 levels of Pre-Production vehicles GT350/R's (TT, PP and MP) can be legally sold to the public in addition to the regular production GT350/R's.

The MP cars that you speak of are not a regular production vehicle but were in fact a pre-production vehicle.

The only pre-production GT350/R's that were not available for sale were the VP cars as those examples did not come with a VIN and many were destroyed in Texas.

There have been many pre-production GT350/R's sold to the general public since Ford starting producing GT350/R's in 2015 as 2016 MY cars with numerous 2020 PP examples already sold to the public.

Ford did not produce any 2015 GT350 pre-production cars with the first PP cars coming the following MY.

The "G" in your VIN and/or chassis number ride represented a 2016 MY vehicle.

Got the email today. Cars are for sale. All 16’s. 45k each. As of noon today only car 14 was sold. Email went out this morning. I did talk to them and was inquiring if the ac’s were back on the cars or not. Will follow up tomorrow. They are all legally titled and registerable.

And then throw in an engine refresh which would cost you about 8-10K. That's not a bargain. I would pass.

35-40K would be my number

I figured 40k was where they would be, but it is what it is right now. I doubt any of the cars need a refresh. They weren’t really driven hard by many. The few I was in felt really good. The maintenance and upkeep side was top notch for sure. If I had a track close to me I’d buy one for sure. A whole lot of car for the track for 40-45k.

Edit: Five are sold as of tonight.

I believe the FP350S requires an engine overhaul after 40 hours. Albeit, the 350s from the TA were not under constant race conditions, but they certainly were not cars and coffee show cars. They were driven hard enough on the track for about 6 years totalling about 60,000 miles of track time.

I would be prudent and plan on an engine refresh.

Just curious… Does anyone has any idea how or when GT350 track attack cars will come available?

thank you in advance!
I just saw a random gt500 with a track attack sticker on it for sale on Car Guru's or Ebay. It had about 4500 miles on it and was about 10k over MSRP. I'll try to find it and post it for you. I think it was for sale in Detroit. I imagine those 4500 miles are mostly above 5000rpm and the rest of the car is looking for a life of leisure.

14.6k - 17.5k miles (hi-lo) with most of the seventeen cars for sale in the 15k mile range on the odo.

VINs are low double digits, as well - ranging from 0022 to 0042.

They are also selling spare parts packages - lots of consumables and other parts.

All of the cars are the '16 Track Pack versions - none of the few R models they have are being sold, nor are the later cars ('19/'20).

Are you thinking of jumping back in Chris?

Edited to add:
I thought that a report from one of the '20 TA attendees said that the odo's were in the mid 55knrange.

The mileage on all the cars is between 14,5-16,5k. They did provide a breakdown on every part thats ever been replaced per car as well.

whoops, mileage was posted.

Yea, I saw that. I thought i read that the cars were in the 50K odo range from recent attendees.

Edited to add:
I must have been mistaken. Still, almost 20K of track miles.... I'd leave room in my budget for some major work.

I asked that the first time I attended. In 20. I was told none had been changed at that point. Clutch’s were changed occasionally. That had more to do with people riding them an issue with the parts.

Thanks but was just thinking 350 if the price was right. Light most things these days…. It’s full boat retail. No deals to be had.

You mentioned they had a list of what was replaced, so no engines? Can you PM me the VINs?
