So I gave my wheels a really good cleaning today with the bilt hamber auto wheels. Now as I'm super OCD I noticed a couple of scratches here and there probably from stones I figure. I was wondering if anyone had any joy touching their wheels up and if so what they used!

Standard Ford gloss black wheels by the way.

Lol the thought did cross my mind!
Sharpie used on mine too :like:

It’s just a standard gloss black so any direct gloss black touch up will do the job.

I purchased a gloss black alloy wheel touch up paint off eBay for my wife’s alloys. Needless to say I’ve had to order more than one !

Thankfully I never kerbed the wheels on the old or new Mustang (yet)!

She even managed to kerb the brand new satin black wheels I purchased for her new car within a week.

I used a Dremel sanding wheel to smooth out the damage and used the satin black touch up paint. The results were brilliant, to the point I was trying to find the damage at the weekend to proudly show her my repair and I couldn’t see where I had repaired initially despite looking for it !

In fact here’s a picture of the repaired wheel to prove my point on how good the dremel / touch up point combo is. See if you can see the scuff mark it was circa 2” length on the outer rim.

Definitely the 4 o'clock position you can see the alloy is slightly darker but the real giveaway is the sliced tyre :giggle:

It wasn’t a kit per say I already had the dremel but this is the tool I use,

so in addition I just purchased one of these types of touch up paints off eBay.

It is the use of the dremel to smooth back the damage that makes the difference visually. I’m well practiced at it now with my wife’s constant use of the wheels vs kerb to aid her parking ! Apparently it’s my fault for buying stupid 22” wheels !

Anyone know the paint code for the nickel lustre wheels supplied with the custom pack?

no primer just grinded it back and touch up paint on top. Holding out well so far
i've ordered some of that paint anything will be better than the kerbing i've currently got so lets give it a go :like:
