Looks awesome! I have one of those too, you should make a temporary lid to put on it when there is not a lot of airflow and it is hot out, I.e. around town during summer. In that case the JLT design becomes a hot air intake⦠I have seen a big difference between lidded and unlidded on the IAT gauge![]()
Not an exhaust update, but I ordered a JLT cold air intake and had time to wrap the āheat shieldā/air diverter box in DEIās gold reflective heat tape. Idk if itāll work, but it looks cool lol a little rice never hurt nobody.
I have some on the exterior as well, I ran out of tape and have to order more lolWouldn't you have wanted to wrap the exterior of the air box instead?
I'm curious as well.Damn you grenaded the clutch with a stock motor. Wth were you doing?
I use a JLT.. IAT's are a little higher when idling, but once you start moving it drops fast, in town it's actually on par with stock, on the highway it a couple degrees from ambient, better than stock.I have seen a big difference between lidded and unlidded on the IAT gauge
