Leather care so far

I've been using Zaino Bros. Leather Cleaner and Conditioner products to maintain the seat surfaces, steering wheel, and shift knob.

On my previous 2010 Mustang GT, the oils from my skin wore down the areas where I normally grip the wheel (9 and 3 positions), as well as the shift knob covering. It left the surfaces looking shiny, while the rest of the wheel was the stock dull finish. I've started wearing gloves in addition to using the Zaino products, usually about once per month.

So far, the leather looks OK. There is some slight puckering of the driver side seat since that gets used the most. However, I am leaving it alone.

Mustang Update

Hey Tony,

I was just browsing, saw you posted the other day and thought I would say hello. My wife and I moved to Atlanta in June, I am missing FUEL and driving around southern Ohio. The next time I come back it will be in my NEW Mustang; I traded in my 2015 RR GT Base non-PP for a black 2015 Premium w/PP!!! That car is a much nicer package than the base non-PP!

Side note- I saw you were debating on getting either an x of h pipe resonator delete. I had the Team Beefcake crew (in Milford) install a Ford Racing X-Pipe. I think you would be really happy with it. The decibels can't go up all that dramatically but the tone is so much better and I swear my throttle response was better/car revved quicker. You will dig it.

On Sept 24 I mark the one year anniversary of paying my initial deposit to the Ford dealer here and now that rhd production seems to be accelerating at Flat Rock I'm hoping to get my window sticker any time now (hopefully before day 365)
Even pregnancies only last 9 months!

Will do, the dealers vista system gives me a build date of Sept 14 so hopefully I get scheduled and a window sticker in the next 12 hours or so when Flat Rock starts up for their Thursday

Tony,
now that you've had the car for almost a year, been through 4 seasons and presumably know every characteristic of it, if you were ordering a new one tomorrow what if anything, would you change, colour, transmission, interior specs etc and what after market mods would you delete/change/add?
