To racing stripe or to not racing stripe ?

My first mustang was a MY12 kona with the factory white stripes; One of the best $475 I've ever spent on an option. I owned the car for 7 years (car was not kept in a garage) never had any peeling or discoloration that couldn't be cleaned off. I always found myself staring when it was within view, the stripe was one of the things that made me really adore the car.

I love stripes on Mustangs. My ‘12 was Kona blue and had silver stripes.

did i read Kona Blue with white stripes...yes, i'm extremely biased when it comes to stripes. the last photo was an early morning shot and shows the Chameleon color characteristics of Kona Blue . stripes are diamond white with metal flakes (9 inch width) and diamond red pinstripe trim (1/4 inch width). IMO, it looks great in direct sunlight (keeping with the Chameleon theme). mine were installed by a local detailing shop and I'm super happy with the outcome.

For about 100 bucks you can get enough vinyl wrap and knife less tape to do all the stripes you want. And you can have your stripes as wide or as narrow as you want at any location on the car.

That looks real good, did you do it yourself or have it put on and if so how much? Because I am still up in the air with stripes or a coyote graphic on the sides.
