That's the question :D

So, once I'll remove the front bumper for lights staff, I'm seriously thinking to also replace the stock intercooler with a bigger a more efficient one. Even the worst aftermarket model will be better than the stock one.

No, I'm not intend to tune the car. Not at all. My only mod will be an exhaust to make some decent sound. ;)

The only reason is the hot and long summer in my country. It is well known that all turbo cars suffer here. I want to ALWAYS have same output from the engine even after some hot pulls:headbang: I read at the US subforum that the stock intercooler "dies" after some good pulls.

So, forget the cost.

Do you think that an aftermarket bigger intercooler will potientaly damage the (untuned) engine ?
Some of you will tell that it is a waste of money. But I remind you: Greece = hot summers.

You got it all right! The first mod for the EB should be a larger IC, get as big as you can fit.
The ecu is superfast in retarding ignition and lower boost if the intake air is to hot.
Next step is to get rid of the heat and a downpipe is the way to go.
With these mods you will get better performance and keep the warranty.
And after a couple of years you get a tune and have a 370 hp fire breathing dragon!

Yes , I was thinking a mishimoto as well because it fits perfectly. As seen on video it is Plug n play job. Just 2 clamps and one sensor.
Are the charge pipes really necessary?

Regarding warranty, I'm not so sure.....there is an expression saying regarding warranty issues in my country:
"you must prove you are not an elephant" meaning you must prove the obvious. Sad but true.

About warranty, you have to remove the parts before you take it to the dealer if you have a claim.
The problem with a tune is that it leaves traces so it is much harder to hide.
BUT I had a tuning company a couple of years ago and tuned well over 100 cars and NONE of them broke down, the build quality is really good and if you drive for a couple of months without problem I would take the EB to the tuner.
The GT does not have the same power gain as the EB after a tune

As I said I don't intend to tune. Afterall even I wanted to, there is no such a thing for EU cars yet.

P.S. there are better tricks for the GT than software tuning. (i.e. supercharger ;) )

Those led on the engine are also planned, just not sure that a take amber or red :s

About the intercooler; because I get get several private messages:

I bought it on LethalPerformance. They are 280$ For the shipment to Belgium. But it did it to stackry with my trufiber carbon diffuser (a lot of problems to get the right quote to ship the CF directly).

You can do almost anything you want to your car in Sweden without the police care BUT do not mount led:s or drive with more then one light source, for example fog and dipped beam at the same time, they will stop you in 5 sec!
