Back in the game! Can't drive with the kids in the back but, who cares, right!

Just received my 2019 Mustang GT Convertible last week - 10 speed automatic, active exhaust, safety package w/ 401a

Current plan is to transform it into a Q500 Enforcer with a full suspension upgrade, CAI & tune, exterior package & more! Future plans are to turn it into a full Q850.

The active exhaust is pretty sick - from the factory, it is a great exhaust & very impressed with the ride quality & drivability thus far - including the different drive packages.

Look forward to sharing my build!

No progress yet, unfortunately - I have the parts sitting in the garage but with all the stuff going on, I haven't been able to do much (just had a baby a couple months) ago.

I currently have progressive springs & the Pro Actions shocks ready to go one, as well as some HREs. Unfortunately, I am in the Detroit area so its not worth putting them on either, lol.

The good news is ... I have my Husky Floor mats in the mail!

Need to get my hands on the 2018 CAI soon.

    TJ

I am assuming the Pro Actions are the adjustable type?

    Here's a quick question for you for Verts;;;

Steeda makes a Delrin insert for the rear suspension. Costs under $50. Do you have to have to take off the Vert rear frame reinforcement to install them?

Also...if you only do that...what benefit does it bring you?

Finally...could it negatively impact your alignment?

    Thanks

Happy to report the Husky liners are a tremendous fit - great quality. Very happy with the product!

I believe the brace does need to be removed in order to install the 555-4438.

Benefit is a square rear subframe to the chassis ... after install you must re-align your car.

    Hope that helps!

Resurrecting an old thread! The Mustang is finally going in for some love :) - a couple of kids later, finally have the resources:

    Steeda Active Shocks & Struts
Steeda Progressive or Dual Rate Springs
    Steeda Swaybars
    IRS Upgrades
    CAI
    Tune
    New Shoes
& some nice carbon fiber accents

Looking forward to the transformation & ride quality - Michigan roads put you through the ringer :)

Hopefully, after the 4th, I will have some feedback & photos!

    Thanks

So we recently just did a full suspension overhaul & upgrade the Mustang ... pictures soon to follow!

    Steeda Camber Plates
    Steeda Swaybars
    Steeda Dual Rate Springs
    Steeda Active Shocks & Struts
    Steeda Strut Tower Brace
    Steeda CAI & Tune
    + more

First, I want to talk about the Steeda Open CAI & 93 Octane Tune. I can say, without B.S.ing that the CAI & Tune has taken the 5.0 Mustang to a new level. I pushed the car somewhat hard before the CAI & Tune (with two kids, its a family car :) pushing it with the added HP & Torque ... it is a night & day difference.

Definitely can feel the power & now pushing it around turns & off the line ... it goes man!

I haven't lost much in terms of MPG but definitely a lot more fun to drive & I am sure the avg. is going to go down, slightly :)

The combo is pretty fantastic & looks great under the hood.

    More to come!
