@Duece McCracken - What would you consider your best bang-for-your buck mods? I have a mainly stock Bullitt, and I'm wondering what you recommend.
Oh geez. Well thats tough.

Straightening out the rear subframe to "stop the hop", really changed the vehicle dynamics. Made the car track straight under wheelspin instead of instantly rotating unsafely. Theres lots of different ways to approach this, but I recommend it before power adders.

Thats where you should start imho.

I have really done a ton to this car, but I kinda "fully mod" a system, so individual parts effectiveness gets vague. I also wasnt very budget focused with my parts. I wanted the best designs, and certain features regardless of price. So similar results could be had probably cheaper.

Steeda coatings kinda suck. Steeda stuff is easy to install.

BMR stuff is heavy duty, but can be more involved to install. Their front subframe stuff is really nice. Same with their motor mounts.

I cross shopped to see what designs for each location, were better suited towards my goals/standards.

A PP2 front splitter would really set the stance on that thing!

Lmao! I'm afraid I'd rip it off or step on it!

Since you mention it though, I may look into a new front splitter again!

I just looked at a bunch of designs. First weekend of June is Carlisle Ford Nationals, so I'll see a ton of different options in person. I do like the PP2, but want to shop around a bit.

Looking at the S650 Air Strakes to improve aero a bit as well.

If you are looking for any of the Steeda components, happy to help. Shoot me an email to [email protected] ... who knows, maybe we'll even have a Memorial Day Sale to take advantage of :)

Looking forward to seeing how those fit and look on the car.
Yeah, I have ground clearance concerns, but hopefully it's not bad, lmfao!!!!

I'll take pics and maybe a video when I put them on. I believe I'll have to modify them a tiny bit for the S550.

How much does your front end move around on its own now haha

Funny thing, everybody keeps saying stuff like "But the tramlining!" "Car now steers you!" "You drove it in the rain, must have been sketchy"

Nope, not at all. People complain about tramlining with the Sport Cup 2 tires. These MP4S dont tramline with my setup. Both my previous setup and this setup have done stellar in the rain as well. One of the best cars I've owned in it actually.

Car is just as nimble and controlled as before, just more planted. I still light up the 315 rears though here and there. I havnt gotten my ducks in a row to do a proper launch yet.

Overall, no perceived negatives at all.

Not sure how that's possible, with only 285's my car follows every crown and imperfection in the road, lol. I don't think it's sketchy in the rain though. As far as I can tell it's less of an issue with the tires and more the amount of grip overwhelming the steering rack base assist level when you aren't turning. Maybe the steering modes on PP and special cars like the Bullitt work differently to manage that better...

I am very far from stock. First page of this build should be up to date minus the Air Strakes.

Mods I have directly related to our topic though.

FRPP magneride handling upgrade pack(springs, sways and calibration)

Steeda Bumpsteer

BMR K member brace

BMR Front of K member 2 point brace

BMR motor mounts

BMR motor brackets

Engine lowered 3/4-ish of an inch

Boomba Trans mount

I think that should be everything pertaining to the discussion right now.

So I'm lower, stiffer, k member is boxed in and very supported, next to no weight shift/motion in engine/drivetrain, no bumpsteer, center of gravity is a hair lower.

I'm very happy with how I have the car setup right now.

As you had mentioned about PP1 settings, that is something I forgot about factoring in, lol.

I have a "My Mode" setup that I always use.

I run Track mode car settings, Sport gauge display layout, with Sport exhaust to keep me quiet under a certain throttle threshold. (Its so nice!)

As a total package, it works very well.
