So, I think I am going to try the Vors D38 for my back wheels as they have a 19x11 that looks really close to the PP1 wheels. Since I have added the Roush Phase 2, these P Zeros just make it unable to hook up at WOT. My original though was to go with the D38, with a Proxe R888R, in 325/30/19, I know 11 isn't optimal for a 325 but Toyo does list it as an approved size. Now I am reading more that 315 is really the max size for the car itself without other modifications? I have never done anything suspension wise, so I am in uncharted waters for me to understand what it means.
I want to get as much straight line traction as I can without sacrificing too much performance.

What I have found currently available due to shortages everywhere:

Proxes R888R 325/30/19
Nitto NT 555 RII 305/35/19

The Proxes in 305 are on backorder until June (most places I have looked)

If I go with the 325's what else is needed to be done for them to work?
How much difference in traction (from anyone who has owned/driven on both) is there between the Nitto and Toyo?

I am open to other suggestions too, but these seem to both be highly rated, I want a street tire as opposed to a full slick, as I have not done the half shafts yet, and I need something that will break traction before I break a half shaft, but also something that will actually get power to the ground.

Any input is really appreciated as I need to get something on order soon...because I would love to actually be able to use the power my car now has :)

Don't underestimate the importance of overall diameter in straight line traction. It's not all about width. There's a reason why all the drag racers run with tall tires and small diameter wheels. The 325 will be very bad with traction as it has a short diameter which increases torque to the ground and decreases contact patch. If you're set on those sizes I would go 305/35/19. The extra sidewall will outweigh the 20mm width. Aesthetically, it will also fill out your wheel wells a lot better.

If you don't like the look of a drag pack type small wheel consider something in the ballpark of 305/40/18. I know Nitto NT555 R2 makes a 315/40/18. That size looks awesome aesthetically too. I think this is your best bet probably.

You probably still won't hook with the Roush but that'll get you as close as possible without a true drag pack.

I have read that the compound on the r888r doesn't require the tires to be heated like r compound on nitto and mickey thompsons...

Anyone else care to weigh in?

Idk why people still recommend the R888R. Its a pretty old design/compound and doesn’t perform any better than a host of 200TW tires. (Discontinued RE71R, Falken RT660, Nankang CR1/CRS, and the real champ, the Yokohama A052).

falkens come in 315/30R19. Unfortunately the superior A052 (for straight line grip anyway) doesn’t offer a 315 in an R19, only R18, but I’d guarantee than the A052 295/35R19 will outperform the R888R AND the Yokes grip fantastically at cool temps.

I have the Nitto 555g2 in a 305 width, i have the roush stage 2 with an A10 and still break traction from a 40 roll let alone from a dig.

G2 doesn't hold the power.

You need the Nitto 555rii and the 555g2 on the front.
