I just picked up some used Velgen 20x9 and 20x10.5. The question is the best tire size for my ride. Will 275/35/20 and 315/35/20 fit and look similar in side wall height? In other words I don't want front/rear looking taller than the other. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Looks fabulous. You are stock height here? What offsets on those wheels? This could be my car, if it had those gorgeous wheels.

I recommend a 275/35/20 & 315/35/20 but the rear is nice and tall but it is a popular option for alot of members.

If you dont want to do that then 275/35/20 & 295/35/20 combo is nice also.

The 275/35/20 & 315/35/20 will look great on the car and you won't have any rubbing issues. Here is a picture of a Mustang lowered on Eibach pro-kit springs running 275/35/20 & 315/35/20

Maybe silly question but how would the 315/35 affect the car with a full load? Shouldn't rub from what people are saying.

if your lowered you just need to adjust the rear camber specs to -2 thats it.

That may be all it takes to get it to "fit," but -2 degrees camber is not a great idea on a street car. The inside ribs of the tire are going to wear quickly, and that is SO much more than typical front camber that handling balance will be affected. You would be adding rear grip, which would be great if you were also adding front grip, but since you aren't you are dialing in understeer (plow).

I'd think really hard about going down a size or two.

My daily runs -3.5 front and -4.5 rear I daily drive and canyon the car tires do not wear out as quickly as everyone thinks. it comes down to maintenance.

That being said the gtpp comes with -1.5 rear factory so naturally if you lower the car you gain -.5 degrees so that's not a lot sir.
