I've got the 051A pkg with the 18" foundry wheels & 235/50 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. They were very good when brand new, but now after 6000 miles they seem to have more noise. Has anyone else noticed this?

On a smooth road when I slow down it sounds like they make a roar which gets louder as it gets slower until I stop. Is this just normal for these tires? Or do other brands not make noise like this? Or could this be a mechanical problem? There are no vibrations or other noises though and the brakes are still great. I don't know why it just sounds loud when rolling.

I think tires have become a crapshoot. I've sworn off Goodyear for now as the last couple of sets became very noisy in a short amount of time on two different cars. I've gone to Bridgestone on the truck and one of the cars and Continental on a Genesis R-spec. Just put MPSS on the Mustang and so far am happy with all.
