Tire inflator and sealant kit Standard on 2018

Tire inflator and sealant kit will be standard on all 2018 Mustangs and it looks like Ford is encouraging their dealers to position it as a spare tire replacement for all non sidewall punctures.

Never have been a fan of fix a flat.
I have the full size spare because of my commute, but the full size spare option for the 2018s is outrageous.

Doesn't that stuff ruin the TPMS sensor? Which run like $50? Same price as just towing it to nearest tire shop and getting it patched.

The spare and Jack kits are on eBay from dealers for just over $200

If you got the spare wheel and tire on the 15-17 Mustang it was $255 but for some resound on the 18MY it now $405 that's a big freaking jump

I ordered the spare wheel and tire for my 2016. I've never liked the fix a flat idea either. The S550 provides space for the spare tire without taking away trunk space, so why not order it? Yeah, it adds a few extra pounds. But I'd rather have a spare tire in the trunk than a can of goo.

It's standard on 2015-2017. I decided to order a spare anyway. Comes in handy for tire rotation.

It works fine, just can only use on rear tires and if flat is in front, swap a rear to the front and the spare is used in rear

Is it confirmed that you can temporarily swap front/rear on PP? Size wise should be fine,but then there's wheel offset....
