Hello There Fellow Mustang Enthusiast. I have read your post and wanted to offer up a few suggestions about some tire options. I have a Pp2, and I live in Southern California. So I use the Sport Cup2 all year round. I understand the frustration that you may have, seeing how the Cup 2 is a "Track Day" tire for your sports car. I enjoy it personally as it provides me with the driving experience that I desire most. But, I have 6 sets of wheels and I occasionally use different tires. The Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 has been a tire that I will use. And there are a few reasons, (1) The price is good. When You compare the price of the Sport Cup2 and the Hankook V12 size for size 305/30/19, you will find that you can save considerably the Michelin brand $509/Hankook $328. And as a consumer with a sports car like a Mustang, saving money on tires is a very good thing to be able to do. Then you have the treadwear, the Cup2(180AAA) is less than the V12(320AAA) which is to be expected. So there's that. There are differences in "Speed Ratings" and "Cold Weather" Handling. I just wanted to share that I have paired my car with other tires in an attempt to see what the other brands had to offer. I have used Toyo R888"s, Pirelli, Nitto, and Goodyear. They all offer something different if not much of the same in certain areas. But for me, because I do a lot of "Spirited Driving", I prefer the Cup2's because of this. If you can, give the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 a try, I don't think that you be disappointed. I'd like to hear about your experience with them.
I have the same V12’s in a 325/30/19 and like them. On my second set now. Got a little over 40k miles out of my last set. For a street tire the price is hard to beat.

Nice! I have used them for years as an alternative and find that they do well at high speeds and cornering too. They also do well in the canyons, I noticed that if I push too hard they'll brake loose, with minimal to normal slip, especially when it's dusty. Overall I enjoy them and they give my wheels a different look, filling up the wheel well with their broader shoulders than the Cup 2's. I would recommend them to someone that is looking for a great, inexpensive summer radial with outstanding performance for spirited driving. It's the blend of performance, style, and value that makes this the perfect tire.

If you go with a 285/35/19 on the front, and the 325/30/19 on the rear you get more options. FIRESTONE FIREHAWK INDY 500 is a good tire at a reasonable price. PS4S is also available in this combination as well several others. PS4S is also available in a 295/30/19, 325/30/19
Thank You! It was the color that got me. I saw it and knew I had to have it. That orange is also a hot color. I have a buddy that has an orange S550, you can definitely spot these colors from afar.
