Having recently changed the Tune on my 17 Roush RS3 From VMP tuned to Roush Phase 2, I noticed that while they are using the same heat Range, the Brands differ. Only difference is the Tune and Pulley size.
Car already had BAP, Plugs, Still using the N Gauge to monitor and pulley.
VMP used the Brisk RR14YS, gapped at .028-.030 on an 82mm Pulley.
Roush Phase 2 is calling for Ford M-12405-M50, gapped at .035 and an 80mm pulley. Strange, higher boost, but a wider gap.
So of these two brands of Spark Plugs, which have everyone found to be the most reliable for performance. We could even toss the NGK 6510's into the mix.
I still have the Brisk in the car and still gapped at the .028. Thought about pulling them and re gapping to Roush's spec'd .035.
Only have about 1,500 miles on the Brisks.

Looking at your specs on your car, you are running a lot more boost than I am, but it appears the Brisk plugs have worked out well for you. Your 1 heat range colder than what was spec'd for my car.
Your flying that for sure.

yes I’m likely running more boost than you. I was having a random misfire code popping up and Lund suggested these and I haven’t really had an issue since. 6510s should work well, a lot of people use them.

Ngk 6510's come at .044 out of the box, NGK never recommends closing their gap more then .008, the electrode is no longer parallel to the ground strap then which is important. I run NGK 95822, not only was it specially designed for boosted applications it comes preset at .030 so running them down to .026 is not an issue.

Running 6510’s down to .026-.028” is not an issue either.

They work but I've had much better luck with the ones I've mentioned, they last about twice as long as well. The ones I mentioned are Ford GT plugs.

Having recently changed the Tune on my 17 Roush RS3 From VMP tuned to Roush Phase 2.
You went from a VMP tune back to the stock Roush tune? My plugs are whatever came with the Phase 2 package. lol

Did not need the whole Roush Phase 2 kit as Car already had BAP, 82mm pulley, which now is 80mm. The cooler plugs. Only thing I had to get from Roush was the Tune itself. Already had an 80mm pulley

So you went from a phase 1 (670hp?) with VMP tune to Phase 2(727hp) with a Roush tune? Or something like that?

Stock 17 RS3 is 670hp. Over a year ago, did VMP's 730 hp kit, which is BAP, 82mm pulley, cooler Brisk plugs, and tuned with Ngauge and needed only 1 revision.
Then a month ago, decided to go with the Phase 2 Roush.
Both are right at 730 hp.
Only thing I needed to change was the 80 mm pulley, which I had, and the tune, which has to be done at a Ford dealer.
First time car had been to a dealer service center.
So the question was about plugs, both Brisk from the VMP and the Roush Phase 2 are the same heat range. Just getting opinions.
