I'm overdue to update this thread.
I inspected my axle nuts over the winter and the witness marks suggested the nut backed off slightly on the offending side (left rear).
I was never able to replicate the noise during street driving.
Before my first track day (which was just in September), I replaced both nuts with fresh units from ford. I then used the old ones as a jam nut for added insurance.
At my first track day I didn't notice any noise until my skidpad session mid way through the day. The noise had returned.
After letting the car cool some (the skidpad isn't heavy on brake heat) I checked my lug nut torque. A few of the nuts did tighten up and the noise stopped. This was consistent with my recollection from the event in the video I posted a year ago, but I had no footage of the afternoon sessions. My recollection a year ago was that after tightening my wheels I was sure the noise went away.
So I guess quite simply it was my wheels starting to get loose.
