But please keep an open mind when it comes time for your next set of tires. Almost anything is better than Pirellis right now.
I think for my next set I'm going with Good-year Polyglass repops.
They barely grip in the dry let alone the rain, again you must not actually push your car.
I keep it safe on the street. I do have fun on these twisty elevation changing KY roads. I only really push the car on tracks because I don't want to hit any farmers on tractors or other cars on the road. So if the supercar 3's are 5 MPH faster on a street curve I could care less.

For complete garbage tire rack rates them pretty good.

Dry-9.1
Wet-8.6
comfort-8.2
wear-8.1

MPS4
Dry-9.4
Wet-8.7
Comfort-8.5
Wear-6.7

So the Pirellis are almost as good as the Michelin but last a lot longer. Yep garbage.

Great review! The thing that stood out to me the most is how bad this new mustang looks especially in black.

Ford has given the Savage Geese guys a Dark Horse to test, and they're collaborating together to do a mini documentary about the S650. The embargo lifts in the next week or so.

Jack from the SG guys is a member over at M7G, and started a thread asking what questions members have, that they can answer in their video.

I don’t think most people have a problem with a digital gauge cluster, I think it’s the lack of design, integration, and thought behind how they approached these screens. They look glued on top of the dash without thought to the design and integration, or the history of Mustang design. The lack of design integration seems to be the biggest problem I think for most. I don’t remember people complain about the digital cluster on the S550 much because it had a housing and was integrated into the interior design.

I also agree with Thomas when he said the interior just felt very focus group oriented. Like Ford only did what some focus group liked (more screens!) and ignored good interior design practices.

I also agree with Thomas that this isn’t an “all new” Mustang. It’s a refresh of the S550, with some minor non cosmetic updates. Aside from the dash the rest of the interior seems to be carry-over from the S550. Heck, even the Nissan Z got new door cards and I think new seats, even if the hard points are the same as the 370Z.
I totally agree with your opinion regarding the digital cluster. It looks very tacked on as a careless integration; to me it’s an abomination. Make the existing cluster area the screen, looking like a customizable display, and I’d have been fine with it. As is I couldn’t buy the car as is.

I wonder how much Ford paid them for this honor. Must be a nice bag. We'll see if savagegeese has a price tag.

Pirellis are fine. Are they as good as the offerings from Michelin? No, but they still get the job done. And everyone here is just tossing around the word Pirelli as if it's all-encompassing. The Super Trofeos are very good, as are the Diablo Rosso/SuperCorsas.

Honestly, the correct answer here for street driving is the Firehawk. Exceptional rain performance and wears like iron. Super cheap and enough grip for street shenanigans.
