Thread subscription emails, despite settings to turn them off

Im getting thread subscription emails as if I have the options configured to do so, even though I've had those settings off for months.

They started suddenly about 1-3 days ago.

Just checked my options to make sure I had that disabled and Im still getting them :(

Not sure if they are related, in that one duplicates the other, but there are 2 places to shut off emails to threads. It was ambiguous whether you where aware of #2, so I'm mentioning, just in case.
1. is in USER CONTROL PANEL: Edit options. as u mentioned.
2. is in the GO ADVANCED tab when you submit a post.

I had the same thing 2-3 days ago my email is blowing up suddenly...something changed but option #1 above seemed to do the trick.
