Thoughts on the GT350 Steering Wheel?

Put a GT350R steering wheel on my '16 the day I drove it home. Ordered both the same time. Took a lot less time for Levittown to ship me the steering wheel than it did for Ford to build and ship my car, so it sat in a closet for weeks. Went with 350R to match the red stitching in the car.

Still like new 5.5 years later.

Looking at getting the GT350 or GT350R steering wheel for my 2017 GT. Anyone here have one of them installed? How do they compare to stock? Worth the price? Any pictures would be appreciated.

The GT350 wheels are a great upgrade; go that route and enjoy. However, if you’re looking for a chunkier wheel you may want to look elsewhere. For about $205 you can reupholster your OEM wheel with thick napa leather goodness:

I was going to say one thing I think the wheel needs is to be a bit thicker. The rest of the wheel and alcantara is nice, but it could be a bit thicker.

GT350R wheel here. Definitely an improvement and just classier all together. Just make sure you're ready to handle the responsibility of having a suede wheel. I always have clean hands before I drive or use gloves.

I wish a 2015-2017 would fit my 2018, thus the price gap. That said, I got a sick hookup at my local Ford dealer and went with the GT350r wheel and shifter. I love the red accents that match my Brembo calipers and start button.
Worth every penny. The feel, the class … spot on.

My car is the base, base model (don't even have line lock), and the GT350 steering wheel adds a bit of class. I gave a ride to a coworker once and he commented on how nice the interior was.
When I drive I use gloves.

A way better steering wheel. A must have mod for me. Makes it a little easier to get into the Recaro seats.
